Good breakfast at Pete's eats in the village. Campsite is nice enough bit hilly in parts but we didn't find that a problem. Shower block what you would expect on a working farm. All in all good weekend and great base for climbing Snowdon. Bonus having the village with all amenities a 10 minute walk away.

Spend a few days her as a base location for walking up Snowdon. Very basic but was perfect for our needs. Clean and tidy showers and toilets. Washing up facilities were good. Quite hilly in places but had a choice of pitches.

As camp sites go it's not bad, would have appreciated directions on their website, as they would only have to say 'follow directions to the youth hostel'.Toilet and shower block is certainly usable, no hooks of any description though so prepare to put clothes on a wet or dirty surface or get cobwebs on them from hanging over a door.Very few flat areas for pitching your tent as it is a hillside farm but we did manage to find a little area that was ok.Fire pits available to use which is a bonus but must buy firewood from the sight, not very fair really but hey they call the shots.

Very convenient, closer to everything that you need. There is nothing wrong with it, it's a basic campsite, does what you need. Facilities are basic, 2 toilets and 2 showers for each gender. Showers are 1 to use, which wasn't mentioned when we arrived. The toilets, whilst clean, did run out of toilet paper occasionally. 1 sink didn't work. For a site that is about to enter into the summer season, they might struggle with the maintenance. There is plenty of space. You are in with the sheep, and the chicken, who likes to be chasedIf you are gonna go, go early so tht you can get a good pitch. There is no farm shop, but there is a spa 10 min walk away. There is no check in or check out time, which is very convenient, and the check in process is painless. The staff are very friendly too. Which is a plus. They offer logs and fire starter packs for approx 6, and they have fire pits/burners which are brilliant. It does what it needs to do

Great location for exploring and lovely views from the site. Owners are available if you need them but you are free to pick where you pitch which is a refreshing change. 2 perfectly functional toilets and showers for the women. Showers take 1 coin for a good length of time and they are warm! Just watch out for the sheep that like to eat parts of tents.
