Stopped here for a pleasant walk and to take some pics, yes my wife and myself like this place.
Excellent, welcoming, once award-winning pub. The decor is dated but the food is perfectly good and the drink very good indeed.
Decent menu, a very welcoming dog friendly pub/restaurant.The food was good, the music was ok and the general atmosphere was friendly.We stumbled onto it by chance and it surpassed our expectations, I would recommend it to any of my friends if they were in the area.
We were told about this pub by the guard on The Welsh Mountain Railway steam train...when we missed our connection and had to get off at the next stop.. Very welcoming and lovely and spacious...and our dog was welcome too. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was very good....so much so that we drove from Pwllheli on the last day of our holiday in Wales...to have a proper meal there which was very good.
The place has really freindly staff and brilliant food. Portions are just a bit too big but there is kids menus as well. Pool tables inside too. Range of drinks and food. Positioned in a place not too far away from anything. Staff can recommend fun and cool places.
