Very interesting place to visit with lots to see. No cafe but one just across the car park. Good place for older children but disabled people may find it challenging.
Absolutely awesome place for aviation lovers! Had so much fun here. Got to sit in the cockpits of some of the planes which made the experience even cooler. Had a plane and a helicopter taking off when I finished looking around the museum too. Truly a great visit. Try checking it out sometime if you get the chance.
A fantastic place for all ages to learn about the RAF Mountain Rescue Service as well as the RAF in general. The static aircraft are fabulous to see and touch. Some of the aircraft you can climb in and sit in the pilots seat. Some of the displays need maintenance but the staff are dedicated to improving the site although they are limited in number. Overall, a fabulous place to visit.
Delightful little museum. Plenty of hands on things to do for the kids. Several cockpits are open. Excellent Mountain Rescue tableau with Whirlwind Helicopter. Celebrating 75 years of RAF mountain rescue service, which was formed here.
