The property survey report produced for us by the chartered surveyor attached to James Properties (Wales) Ltd, was thorough and clearly presented. However it did not appear when promised. We had to chase them and they quickly sent the report by email and I also spoke with the surveyor over the telephone, which was very helpful.The reason for the non-arrival was that the envelope used was far too weak for the task and it was necessary for the Post Office to secure the contents en-route. To add insult to injury, the postage paid was insufficient and we had to pay a surcharge to collect the report, nearly nine days after posting. I emailed James Properties to explain what happened and the response was far from satisfactory, which bodes poorly for anyone intending to use their services in the future. As an aside, should a member of James Properties be awarding themselves 5 stars!
