Kind receptionist
My elderly mother has been going to this surgery for at least. 12 months. As her feet ankles and lower leg have been swollen also she's been losing her Ballance.. The prognosis from the doctor was to give my mother socks to stop the swelling. There was no measuring my mother's feet for the socks which has to be done, No just go and pick them up off the shelf in the chemist. Wrong diagnosis. My mother has just come back from Hospital and she has been aneemic for a very long time. Just another thing to add to the list of things that have happened to my mother in this place. Fuming is an understatement about how wee feel about this practice.
Dont think ive ever had a good experience here. Always been sat down for 40+minuits even with a screaming unwell baby. And doctors dony seem much help. Went their yesterday with my daighter with a bad rash doctor sqid its not contadious even though he didnt know what was causing it. Woke up this morning with my other daughter with it too... so it obviously is contadious... got two unwell daughters now.
When I phone the doctors at 8am I can get an appointment and request to either see a doctor or a nurse. Staff are pleasant and easy to talk to they give me information I request and let me know if the doctor is going to be late seeing me.
On holiday in North Wales and wife in severe pain in the night, NHS Direct nurse advised us to contact Caernarfon GP as too late to see a doctor out of hours. Called and after 10 mins wait receptionist advised we were out of their area and we'd need to contact doctors in the next village not them. Couldn't tell me which village or the name or number of the relevant doctors surgery advised to ask in our village shop!!!! and then hung up. Appalling.
Having been forced to leave my old surgery in Bangor to come here, Ive never been so utterly disappointed in my life. This is by far the worst practice ever. Avoid like the plague. I wish with everything I have I could go back to my wonderful surgery in Bangor where they ACTUALLY CARE
